一月二十三日 早课
盼望不至于羞耻（罗5：5）。 我是耶和华，等候我的必不至羞愧（赛49：23）。倚靠耶和华，以耶和华为可靠的，那人有福了（耶17：7）。坚心倚靠你的，你必保守他十分平安，因为他倚靠你。你们当倚靠耶和华直到永远，因为耶和华是永久的磐石（赛26：3，4）。我的心哪，你当默默无声，专等候 神，因为我的盼望是从他而来。惟独他是我的磐石，我的拯救，他是我的高台，我必不动摇（诗62：5，6）。然而我不以为耻。因为知道我所信的是谁（提后1：12）。
神愿意为那承受应许的人格外显明他的旨意是不更改的，就起誓为证。藉这两件不更改的事， 神决不能说谎，好叫我们这逃往避难所、持定摆在我们前头指望的人可以大得勉励。我们有这指望，如同灵魂的锚，又坚固、又牢靠，且通入幔内。作先锋的耶稣……为我们先进入幔内（来6：17…20）。 Hope maketh not ashamed。 I am the LORD： 。。。 they shall not be ashamed that wait for me。 — Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD； and whose hope the LORD is。 — Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace； whose mind is stayed on thee： because he trusteth in thee。 Trust ye in the LORD for ever： for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength。 — My soul； wait thou only upon God； for my expectation is from him。 He only is my rock and my salvation： he is my defense； I shall not be moved。 — I am not ashamed； for I know whom I have believed。 God； willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel； confirmed it by an oath： that by two immutable things； in which it was impossible for God to lie； we might have a strong consolation； who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us； which hope we have as an anchor of the soul； both sure and stedfast； and which entereth into that within the veil； whither the forerunner is for us entered； even Jesus。 ROM。 5：5。 Isa。 49：23。 …Jer。 17：7。 …Isa。 26：3；4。 …Psa。 62：5；6。 …II Tim。 1：12。 Heb。 6：17…20。

十字架讨厌的地方（加5：11）。 若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，背起他的十字架，来跟从我（太16：24）。 岂不知与世俗为友就是与 神为敌吗？所以凡想要与世俗为友的，就是与 神为敌了（雅4：4）。我们进入 神的国，必须经历许多艰难（徒14：22）。 信靠他的人必不至于羞愧（罗9：33）。所以，他在你们信的人就为宝贵，在那不信的人有话说：匠人所弃的石头已作了房角的头块石头。又说：作了绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石（彼前2：7，8）。 但我断不以别的夸口，只夸我们主耶稣基督的十字架。因这十字架，就我而论，世界已经钉在十字架上；就世界而论，我已经钉在十字架上（加6：14）。我已经与基督同钉十字架（加2：20）。凡属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体连肉体的邪情私欲同钉在十字架上了（加5：24）。我们若能忍耐，也必和他一同作王；我们若不认他，他也必不认我们（提后2：12）。 The offence of the cross。 If any man will e after me； let him deny himself； and take up his cross； and follow me。

主已经近了（腓4：5）。 因为主必亲自从天降临，有呼叫的声音和天使长的声音，又有 神的号吹响，那在基督里死了的人必先复活。以后我们这活着还存留的人必和他们一同被提到云里，在空中与主相遇。这样，我们就要和主永远同在。所以，你们当用这些话彼此劝慰（帖前4：16…18）。证明这事的说：是了，我必快来。阿们！主耶稣啊，我愿你来（启22：20）。 亲爱的弟兄啊，你们既盼望这些事，就当殷勤，使自己没有玷污，无可指摘，安然见主（彼后3：14）。各样的恶事要禁戒不作。愿赐平安的 神亲自使你们全然成圣。又愿你们的灵与魂与身子得蒙保守，在我主耶稣基督降临的时候，完全无可指摘。那召你们的本是信实的，他必成就这事（帖前5：22，24）。 你们也当忍耐，坚固你们的心，因为主来的日子近了（雅5：8）。 The Lord is at hand。 The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout； with the voice of the archangel； and with the trump of God： and the dead in Christ shall rise first： then we which are alive and remain； shall be caught up together with them in the clouds； to meet the Lord in the air： and so shall we ever be with the Lord。 Wherefore fort one another with these words。 — He which testifieth these things saith； Surely I e quickly； Amen。 Even so； e； Lord Jesus。 Wherefore； beloved； seeing that ye look for such things； be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace； without spot； and blameless。 — Abstain from all appearance of evil。 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly； and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the ing of our Lord Jesus Christ。 Faithful is he that calleth you； who also will do it。 Be ye also patient； stablish your hearts； for the ing of the Lord draweth nigh。 PHI。 4：5。 I Thes。 4：16…18。 …Rev。 22：20。 II Pet。 3：14。 …I Thes。 5：22…24。 Jas。 5：8。

美好的萄葡树（创49：11）。 我所亲爱的有葡萄园在肥美的山冈上。他刨挖园子，捡去石头，栽种上等的葡萄树，指望结好葡萄，反倒结了野葡萄（赛5：1，2）。然而我栽你是上等的葡萄树，全然是真种子，你怎么向我变为外邦葡萄树的坏枝子呢（耶2：21）？ 情欲的事都是显而易见的，就如奸淫、污秽、邪荡、拜偶像、邪术、仇恨、争竞、忌恨、恼怒、结党、纷争、异端、嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴等类。圣灵所结的果子，就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、温柔、节制（加5：19…23）。 我是真葡萄树，我父是栽培的人。凡属我不结果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡结果子的，他就修理干净，使枝子结果子更多。你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面。你们多结果子，我父就因此得荣耀，你们也就是我的门徒了（约15：1，2，4，8）。 The choice vine。 My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill： and he fenced it； and gathered out the stones thereof； and planted it with the choicest vine； 。。。 and he looked that it should bring forth grapes； and it brought forth wild grapes。 — Yet I had planted thee a noble vine； wholly a right seed： how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me。 The works of the flesh are manifest； which are these； Adultery； fornication； uncleanness； 。。。 envyings； murders； drunkenness； revellings； and such like： 。。。 but the fruit of the Spirit is love； joy； peace； longsuffering； gentleness； good…ness； faith； meekness； temperance。 I am the true vine； and my Father is the husbandman。 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away： and every branch that beareth fruit； he purg…eth it； that it may bring forth more fruit。 Abide in me； and I in you 。。。 Herein is my Father glorified； that ye bear much fruit； so shall ye be my disciples。 GEN。 49：11。 Isa。 5：1；2。 …Jer。 2：21。 Gal。 5：19；21…23。 John 15：1；2；4；8。
