十一月四日 早课
如今在百般的试炼中暂时忧愁（彼前1：6）。 亲爱的弟兄啊，有火炼的试验临到你们，不要以为奇怪，似乎是遭遇非常的事，倒要欢喜，因为你们是与基督一同受苦，使你们在他荣耀显现的时候，也可以欢喜快乐（彼前4：12，13）。那劝你们如同劝儿子的话，说：我儿，你不可轻看主的管教，被他责备的时候，也不可灰心（来12：5）。凡管教的事，当时不觉得快乐，反觉得愁苦，后来却为那经炼过的人结出平安的果子，就是义（来12：11）。 我们的大祭司并非不能体恤我们的软弱，他也曾凡事受过试探，与我们一样，只是他没有犯罪（来4：15）。他自己既然被试探而受苦，就能搭救被试探的人（来2：18）。 神是信实的，必不叫你们受试探过于所能受的（林前10：13）。 Now for a season； if need be； ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations。

和平的君（赛9：6）。 他要按公义审判你的民，按公平审判你的困苦人。大山小山都要因公义使民得享平安。他必降临，像雨降在已割的草地上，如甘霖滋润田地。在他的日子，义人要发旺，大有平安，如像月亮长存（诗72：2，3，6，7）。在至高之处荣耀归与 神，在地上平安归与他所喜悦的人（路2：14）。因我们 神怜悯的心肠，叫清晨的日光从高天临到我们，要照亮坐在黑暗中死荫里的人，把我们的脚引到平安的路上（路1：78，79）。 神藉着耶稣基督传和平的福音（使10：36）。 我将这些事告诉你们，是要叫你们在我里面有平安。在世上你们有苦难，但你们可以放心，我已经胜了世界（约16：33）。 我留下平安给你们；我将我的平安赐给你们。我所赐的，不像世人所赐的（约14：27）。 神所赐出我意外的平安，必在基督耶稣里保守你们的心怀意念（腓4：7）。 The Prince of Peace。 He shall judge thy people with righteousness； and thy poor with judgment。 The mountains shall bring peace to the people； and the little hills； by right…eousness。 He shall e down like rain upon the mown grass； as showers that water the earth。 In his days shall the righteous flourish； and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth。 — Glory to God 。。。 on earth peace； good will toward men。 Through the tender mercy of our God； 。。。 the dayspring from on high hath visited us。 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death； to guide our feet into the way of peace； — peace by Jesus Christ： （he is Lord of all）。

这世界的样子将要过去（林前7：31）
玛土撒拉共活了九百六十九岁就死了（创5：27）。卑微的弟兄升高，就该喜乐；富足的降卑，也该如此。
因为他必要过去，如同草上的花一样，太阳出来，热风刮起，草就枯干，花也凋谢，美容就消没了；那富足的人在他所行的事上也要这样衰残（雅1：9…11）。明天如何，你们还不知道。你们的生命是什么呢？你们原来是一片云雾，出现少时就不见了（雅4：14）。这世界和其上的情欲都要过去，惟独遵行 神旨意的，是永远常存（约壹2：17）。耶和华啊，求你叫我晓得我身之终，我的寿数几何，叫我知道我的生命不长（诗39：4）。人正说平安稳妥的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。弟兄们，你们却不在黑暗里，叫那日子临到你们像贼一样（帖前5：3，4）。 The fashion of this world passeth away。 All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years： and he died。 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted： but the rich； in that he is made low： because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away。 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning beat； but it withereth the grass； and the flower thereof falleth； and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth： so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways。 — For what is your life？ It is even a vapour of that appeareth for a little time； and then vanisheth away。 — The world passeth away； and the lust thereof： but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever。 LORD； make me to know mine end； and the meas
