我们当深深考察自己的行为，再归向耶和华（耶哀3：40）。 耶和华啊，求你察看我，试验我，熬炼我的肺腑心肠（诗26：2）。你所喜爱的是内里诚实；你在我隐密处必使我得智慧（诗50：6）。我思想我所行的道，就转步归向你的法度。我急忙遵守你的命令，并不迟延（诗119：59，60）。人应当自己省察，然后吃这饼，喝这杯（林前11：28）。 我们若认自己的罪， 神是信实的，是公义的，必要赦免我们的罪，洗净我们一切的不义（约壹1：9）。在父那里我们有一位中保，就是那义者耶稣基督。他为我们的罪作了挽回祭（约壹2：1，2）。弟兄们，我们既因耶稣的血得以坦然进入至圣所，是藉着他给我们开了一条又新、又活的路从幔子经过，这幔子就是他的身体。又有一位大祭司治理 神的家。并我们心中天良的亏欠已经洒去，身体用清水洗净了，就当存着诚心和充足的信心来到 神面前（来10：19…22）。 Let us search and try our ways； and turn again to the Lord。 Examine me； O LORD； and prove me； try my reins and my heart。 — Behold； thou desirest truth in the inward parts： and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom。 — I thought on my ways； and turned my feet unto thy testimonies。 I made haste and delayed not to keep thy mandments。 — Let a man examine himself； and so let him eat of that bread； and drink of that cup。

那厚赐与众人、也不斥责人的 神（雅1：5）。 妇人，那些人在哪里呢？没有人定你的罪吗？她说：主啊，没有。耶稣说：我也不定你的罪，去吧！从此不要再犯罪了（约8：10；11）。 神的恩典，与那因耶稣基督一人恩典中的赏赐，岂不更加倍地临到众人吗？恩赐乃是由许多过犯而称义（罗5：15，16）。 神有丰富的怜悯，因他爱我们的大爱，当我们死在过犯中的时候，便叫我们与基督一同复活，一同坐在天上，要将他极丰富的恩典，就是他在基督耶稣里向我们所施的恩慈，显明给后来的世代看（弗2：4…7）。 神即不爱惜自己的儿子为我们众人舍了
