你们要查考宣读耶和华的书（赛34：16）。 你们要将我这话存在心内，留在意中，系在手上为记号，戴在额上为经文（申11：18）。 这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利（书l：8）。 神的律法在他心里，他的脚总不滑跌。我藉着你嘴唇的言语自己谨守，不行强暴人的道路。我将你的话藏在心里，免得我得罪你（诗37：31；17：4；119：11）。 我们并有先知更确的预言，如同灯照在暗处（彼后l：19）。你们在这预言上留意，直等到天发亮，晨星在你们心里出现的时候，才是好的。叫我们因圣经所生的忍耐和安慰，可以得着盼望（罗15：4）。
Seek ye out of the book of the Lord。

心里所充满的，口里就说出来（太12：34）。 当用各样的智慧，把基督的道理丰丰富富地存在心里（西3：16）。你要保守你心，胜过保守一切，因为一生的果效，是由心发出（箴4：23）。生死在舌头的权下（箴18：21）。义人的口谈论智慧，他的舌头讲说公平。 神的律法在他心里，他的脚总不滑跌（诗37：30，31）。 污秽的言语，一句不可出口，只要随事说造就人的好话，叫听见的人得益处（弗4：29）。 我们所看见、所听见的，不能不说（徒4：20）。我因信，所以如此说话（诗116：10）。 凡在人面前认我的，我在我天上的父面前也必认他（太10：32）。人心里相信，就可以称义；口里承认，就可以得救（罗10：10）。 Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh。 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom。 Keep thy heart with all diligence； for out of it are the issues of life。 — Death and life are in the power of the tongue。 —The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom； and his tongue talketh of judgment。 The law of his God is in his heart： none of his steps shall slide。 — Let no corrupt munication proceed out of your mouth； but that which is good to the use of edifying； that it may minister grace unto the hearers。 We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard。 — I believed； therefore have I spoken。
